The Problem of Imperfect Revelation: Your Thoughts?

Theists need god to be real in order to maintain the notion that life has purpose. They fail to realize that life is full of purpose even without a belief in god, and for this reason their bias toward needing god to exist blinds them to all reason until they think they are believing reasonably in their fairytale. There is nothing reasonable about believing in something for which there is no evidence, and that claim is proven every day. If one individual makes the claim that he has unerring faith in the monster which resides in his closet, he is considered insane. If millions of people believe in the same closet monster for which there is no proof, they are considered religious. Honestly, from my perspective, there is no distinction between insanity and religious faith.
