Praying is akin to meditating... helps sort out things in your mind. Of course, it does have the requirement that you believe it will actually do something.

Number of adherents
Even so, the most flattering estimate puts the number of chrstians at ~2 billion, or less than 1/3 of the world's population.... Meaning that more than 2/3 of the world's population is not christian... so more than 2/3 of this planet's population thinks the christians are full of crap. Apply the same thinking for any other religion.
