I sat through a retirement ceremony today that felt more like a Church service than something that was meant to send a man off. He stood up there and said to everyone present more than once, "If you didn't know by now that I'm a Christian, then I haven't been doing my job." Well, and Air Force Major who is talking about religion to his co-workers is not only doing something he SHOULDN'T be doing at his job, but the level of discomfort in the audience was palpable.

At least these people are being honest about where they get their foundation, instead of trying to convince people that it's the only place to get it. I use many of the tenets put forth in Star Trek as platitudes to live by. Does this make me wrong for doing so?
