Abortion as a whole. People are going to do it. They have for as long as humans have existed and even them Jews had ways of doing it lined out in the bible. Public safety is what's important first of all. The fact that so many women endure no other choice but abortion is a failure of society, failed policies, and religious intervention. Condoms. Use em. The pill. Provide them at an affordable cost. IUDs : don't charge the poorest of poor 900 $ for a Mirena. Quit shutting down public health clinics where they can get discounts. Quit allowing insurance companies that cover medical workers to deny IUD coverage., forcing insured individuals to go to third rate clinics or state funded clinics in order to get what they need. My sister does not deserve to be a new doctors lab rat at the public health clinic just because her insurance through work is Catholic run. Quit fighting to shut down planned parenthood clinics which are merely being swamped by the side effects of failed religious enforcement. Support the people in their plight. Women don't go having abortions cuz its fun. Its traumatizing, dangerous, and a result of lack of physical education in schools and a failed policy of teaching abstinence as the Only way to go.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.
