The A/S/King is not for God it is for us.
In order to do this as stated we must first have the right heart and/or mind set.
If we do not have it we can ask god to help us get it.

If we don't have the right mindset to ask, we should... ask?

If you were invited to meet the world leaders at a grand black tie ball/dinner. would you dress the part or would you go unshowered, unbathed, and wearing your jam jams? Power demands compliance.

If I was trying to get in touch with a world leader by exchanging notes or calling on the phone I would take a cordial tone, yes. If the world leader on the phone told me that he would hang up unless I got down on my knees, things would get a bit awkward.

I'm not being invited to god's black tie affair in heaven, I'm running around the schoolyard trying to figure out where he's hiding. If he presents himself and it turns out that he's a supreme intellect of immeasurable power who has a good enough explanation for why things are so screwed up, I would be willing to humble myself.

Belief in Christ enough to take Him up on what He said do.

The vast majority of people from the time of Christ till now either did not have a book or could not read it, so what do you think?

I think that it's bizarre that anyone would worship a person whose identity and personality are only to be discovered in a book that most of his followers either couldn't read or consider to be of secondary importance to simply believing in the person who is only to be known through the book.

One can not truly be 'free' unless first he knows he has been bound.

I agree with this, although for me the freedom came when I finally let go of religious belief.

God reveals Himself, make no mistake. One simply must humble himself to receive such a revelation on His terms and not our own.

We're going in circles with this, as I figured we would. This is the third or fourth time you've reminded me that god can be found, if only we search the right way, a way for which there are no specifics.
