I'm going to be perectly blunt here. You've got a lot of non-sequiturs that seem to be more rationalization than reason. You didn't like the person you were that developed from the conclusions you drew as an atheist, and a belief in god allowed you to change that. You found faults within yourself and justified a worldview that aloowed you to change those faults.
You speak of atheism bringin about pride that caused you to believe you're better than everyone else and thusly felt that you were justified in treating them poorly. I, however, have never had such issues as an atheist. What then should I conclude about your conclusion that following those commandments are the only way to value and treat others fairly?
