We're criticizing the sexist idea that is the burka. There's not much to understand about it.
Islam is sexist. It is. Man can marry 4 wives, women can't marry more than one man. Man can divorce wife by saying I divorce you 3 times. Women cannot deny men sex after marriage. Men are instructed on how to physically beat their wives in the Qur'an. Islam teaches that women are suited for a specific set of roles and men are suited for another set. Is that not judging humans by their sex? Is that not sexist?
Husband has no right? Only in Islam would people think that is something to boast about. Are we going to pretend Shariah laws don't exist here? That there aren't muslim households that enforce these laws within their walls?
