Can you demonstrate your "uncomfortable facts," at all? You do understand that numbers aren't some magic external force, they're just the way we as humans quantify things? And that the reason elements have the atomic structure they do is because if they had a different structure they would be a different element?

What justification do you have for your leap that "there's numbers here, therefore GAWD!"
