Never wondered about any such thing. In fact I am not aware of any "atheist stereotype". I am an individual who happens to be an atheist and I couldnt give less of a damn about what some arrogant sod on the internet thinks of me.

Did you just stereotype someone for wondering over stereotype? Oh the delicious irony.

Why not be thankful that the people did not die and are still alive?

Do you always think of yourself as a figure of moral authority and constantly stick your finger under peoples noses reminding them of how "bad" they are in your worthless opinion?

Instead you use the case as material to rant and rave and curse about a God you do not even believe exists....

No. It is used to make fun over morons who put themselves in high risk to prove what essentialy is nothing.

They believe in God, you guys don't. But I assure you, threads like this only serve to show that your attitude towards those that have different beliefs than you make you look just like those same people you are so quick to judge for being bigots.

Threads like these show the extreme stupidity behind rellying on nothing but worthless hope, when taking action would have certainly been the better option.
