We already know why atheists are stereotyped: short sighted fools with an agenda need to make someone the enemy, after all.

Why not be thankful that the people did not die and are still alive?

Can you point to any one of us that was like "oh dang, I wish they had died!" What kind of dark world do you live in where the desire that human beings not kill themselves needs to be pointed out to you at every opportunity? For most of us, that shit's just implicit.

Instead you use the case as material to rant and rave and curse about a God you do not even believe exists....

Or, or, now follow me on this one, we're laughing at the idiocy of the two people who willfully endangered not only their own lives, but the lives of their children, executing on a belief of persecution that isn't even factual, costing some amount of money and time that rescue crews could have used doing something useful.
