If you believe in God then science deals with the physical/detectable portion of Gods creation. If you're an atheist it's the study of...stuff which happens to exist for no reason. Either way it works, it's equally fine.
Alright, listen: I'm tired of this bullshit from you. What created your god? Something had to, right? It doesn't matter if you say nothing did, or if you appeal to some infinite regress, or you just plain say you don't know: at some point, all of our belief systems come back to something that happened because it happened. Don't sit there and strawman us again and again, as if poking holes in our position makes yours look better.
Quote:No science doesn't do this, science is about making a falsifiable hypothesis and then putting the hypothesis to the test using physically observable data. And that's it, it has no bearing on God at all as no-one is presenting God as a scientific hypothesis.
Yes, and the silence of scientists when it comes to the testable, real world evidence of god is deafening.
