Jesus himself was very clear on his stance on the Torah/Old Testament.
"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill" (Matthew 5:17).
Fulfill means to bring into completion. You have to take everything you read in the Bible within this context.
Oh dear. You can't possibly think that this word is enough to absolve the bible of all of its ridiculous and insanely malevolent quotes from the God it depicts.
