The Arabic you've written doesn't make much sense
Here's the word used:


وَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاء كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا Means he 'unseamed' or 'ruptured' them. Your translation was definitely bad, but it looks like the actual meaning carries more credence than 'split'.

As for my Arabic, I'll just go ahead and translate that into English for you. It says: You are the worst Muslim I have ever met. More literally, it reads: YOU are the worst Muslim for that I have faced before.

Don't worry about misunderstanding it. Arabic syntax is tricky, so perhaps you should leave it to the professionals.
