Thats not new to atheists really. I have on a couple of occasions been asked if I don't worship god do I worship Satan.
Horrible argument, yes. But I think Christians and Sunnis and gays living in Iran have more to fear than the ineptitude of the credulity that argument.
Keep in mind Japan had a few years back a nutbag superstitious idiot gas their subway as a terrorist act. If the worst you have to be asked is "If you don't worship God, do you worship Satan" you are doing good.
Not saying don't counter the argument, by all means do. Bitch slap them verbally if you have to. But the underpinnings of superstition in our species are always there, so you simply do your best to counter their arguments without getting tribal and violent as theism gets.
