Hm, Idk, maybe she means being angry at god and calling yourself and atheist is not the way to go? In a way she'd be right because you'd be angry at something you believe exists. Maybe just tell her you don't believe god exists so she knows where you're coming from and the conversation can move forward.
I actually did, lol. I told her that I just didn't see any real reason for God to exist, but I think she still held onto the notion that I was going through a phase after the talk ended because of my own uprbringing. I also think that the while angry at God thing was where she was coming from too, but how could I have been mad at something that I doubted his existence at the time anyway?
