After running my errands, I walked into a shoe shop to do some shoe shopping.
Everything was fine and I was happy (as most sane people are, when surrounded by shoes), then this song came on. I've never heard of it before, and I can't recall the lyrics. But the whole song was about how when you pray to Jesus, and nothing happens to fix whatever it is you need fix, you shouldn't lose faith, because god is working behind the scenes, in the meantime just keep praising god.
And I thought that was so stupid. It was basically telling people whether or not god responds to prayer, just keep praying. What a shit way to deal with a shit situation.
Anyway, then I found this pair of black knee-length boots with 4 inch heels. All was good.
