The threat of ridicule has never stopped you from judging people in the past.
Besides, judge away. You've got just as much right to your opinion as we do, and you've got precisely the same ability to express that on the forums. Just, prepare to be disagreed with.
I've never really understood this need to keep certain beliefs sacrosanct and away from critique that you guys have.
Thats easy to answer, religion falls apart under critique. So religious of all stripes try to make their beliefs beyond criticism so that it does not torn in front or their eyes. When it does torn down one of three things happen for a theist: the go into mental acrobatics to warp and twist it into shape, various forms of denial, or loss of faith and all of those option are bad for the religion.
