Well, hey. Maybe he doesn't believe the shit part of his religion and is unorthodox in his beliefs. I'm not a bigot for having a predisposition against bigotry doctrine, and just because you've cherrypicked everything out of the Bible that makes you feel guilty as void, that doesn't make you any less of a bigot. You still believe I'm going to hell so that you can go to heaven, and wouldn't bat an eye if I was destitute on the side of the road with a sign that says god bless. The value and quality of my life is nill to you and yet you call me the bigot.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
