Well now that that's out of the way, let me share my sentiment. Finally we will have a government that won't go making excuses as to why we have to run budgets in the red. Labor thinks that money grows on trees, and every time they get into power, the first thing that they do is find taxes to raise (on alcohol, tobacco, resources, and carbon!) and then leave the coalition to repay it.
Do you know the price of scrap steel in Australia is $60/ton. I spent two full working days doing nothing but scrapping steel, and I managed to sell 9tons of it - oh actually it took two of us. Anyway, $500 would be nice, but oh wait the government tax on it is $30/ton, so that's only $250 I get paid for it. divide that by four and that's, oh, $75 each per 8 hour day - not even counting vehicle costs. And I still have to pay 10% GST too. You wonder why people don't recycle anymore, Labor and their extraordinary taxes on everything. The excise was put up at the start of the year from $25/ton to $30/ton. Isn't it great to know that when we try to do the right thing, instead of being rewarded we're totally screwed by Labor's extraordinary taxes?
I'm just glad to see the end of this fucking nonsense, and I'm hoping that we can see some of these completely anti-business and anti-recycling policies change for the better.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK
"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
