Atheism is the default from birth. You get indoctrianted into religion, not into atheism. There is no concept/thinking involved except a lack of belief. And that's it.

Thinking skeptically would make you a skeptic. I've met plenty of atheists who still believe in dumb things like ghosts and Wicca. They're still atheists, but by your definition they're not. Sad
