Atheists do this too. They will point to other atheists and say "They make me look bad when they behave that way".

I say, no, it doesn't make you look bad, it makes them look bad. Atheists like any other label, ultimately we are still individuals first.

But unfortunately when it comes to atheists, if one atheist does something bad, it means all atheists are evil, immoral people. If one Christian does something bad, he's not a true Christian because a true Christian wouldn't do that.
