"Scripture" is simply a superstitious word for "script". The bible is a horrible script, poorly written were the real villain(fictional sky daddy) like a dictator or Mafia boss uses threats and bribes to keep you in line. Sets up the game without any consent of the governed, rigs the game, then blames you for the game he set up.
