When I introduced myself, I also mentioned that after my deconversion, I thought of myself as sort of a pantheist for many years because I wanted to believe some force was behind the beauty of the universe, but a closer study of evolution convinced me there is no room for any kind of intelligent design, not even guiding the evolutionary process.
