Sometimes the nuthouse provides an amusing spectacle. Sometimes it's just embarrassing and depressing. Today's one of the latter days. I can't imagine worshipping to the point of idolatry an ancient book that was obviously the product of an ignorant and barbarous time. Arguing with YECs, as this thread and others provide ample evidence for, is next to useless. Unless . . .
Just out of curiosity, are there any forum members who now identify as atheists but used to believe YEC claims about scientific evidence and Biblical interpretation? I actually hope the answer is yes, as that would provide some justification for engaging the Graces, et al, of the world. Otherwise, we really are better off comparing sex toys or blowing bubbles or something.
