Why is having a mod on the ignore list against rules?
#38
RE: Why is having a mod on the ignore list against rules?
We just added two new moderators. Why? Because we on the staff felt that we have a lot of work to do and we are too few to get it done in an appropriate matter of time with the hands we already had on deck. If people start to put us on ignore for whatever reason, it makes it even harder to do our job properly, especially if any staff member can't get into contact with any forumist at any time. Remember, the one doing the work as a member of the staff is not the same as the posts (s)he writes. It doesn't matter if you feel that someone on the staff is an asshole, you do not put him or her on ignore. You can question the rule all you like, it has been there to be read from the very beginning of these forums, but you do not put any member on the staff on ignore.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
