It's how you got that way that MAY be a sin. For example; if you're fat because of a genetic reason, then no, it's not a sin. But if you are fat from a lack of self control, then yes, it is a sin. If you make food (or any earthly thing) more important than god, then (whatever) it is becomes a sin. Going to church too much could become a sin if it began to take precedence over worship of god.
Hey fff. Thought I would respond now that I am well rested

I understood your point. My point was that gluttony does not only apply to Christians and that Christians commit many more "sins" than just gluttony. I know you were just picking one. Living in the USA we all know that gluttony is a HUGE problem here. All you need to do is see the advertisements for our major restaurant chains and see the portions. It's shameful. I agree with this. I agree that the majority of obese people are this way due to unhealthy eating habits, but I had to throw it out there that some are not. My mother has a thyroid disorder, that added with a certain medication that she has to take for something unrelated to that makes her gain weight even though she doesn't eat disproportionately. She's an exception. Exceptions are out there.
When I was a Christian I witnessed many more "sins" by the very leaders: rape, greed, dishonesty, adultery, lust, hate, and envy, to name a few.
So, what's up?

Pointing around: "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, fuck you, I'm out!"
