I can't believe you expect any rational person to accept this as a logical conclusion when you yourself want to sell us the idea that your god "needs" pleasure and derives it from watching his sheep suffer.Where did I try to sell the idea that god needs pleasure? Please quote me.
In the following post you CLEARLY are trying to sell the fact that your god NEEDS pleasure by making the statement, "... and so would bring god greater pleasure." You can dance around it and back peddle all day, but this post is a sick reminder of how twisted you and your vile god can be. Now before you respond, please read your own post and do try avoiding hypocrisy.

In Job, God derives pleasure and glory from Job's obedience. He allows Job to suffer, as obedience through suffering is greater than obedience with reward, and so would bring God greater pleasure.
I don't judge god for doing this because I do the same thing. So do you, and probably everyone on here. We place our own pleasure and glory above the suffering of others all the time. The difference between me and you is that I admit it, but you'll attempt to rationalize it.
On a side note:
Only a real sleaze-bag would put his own pleasure and glory above the suffering of others ... and you just admitted that you do this exact thing.
There has NEVER been an occasion where I have allowed someone to suffer just so I could get some kind of perverse pleasure from it. EVER!
You and your god are a real couple of sadistic SOBs.
