Well, his way of "addressing" something is to deny either what he said or what he meant and then repeat himself for the rest of the thread. He has also openly admitted to getting banned from other discussion boards for this. As for having theists around to debate with - we have plenty of sheep around to talk to.

Yes clearly. Feel free to teach me a lesson and join him. Three days from now, no one will give a shit if John V is posting his drivel on this site. Members come and go and in the end, no one really cares if you or I disappear.

If I were an independent, free-thought community skeptic/atheist, I would hate like hell to have someone appointing themself
as spokesperson on my behalf - especially if they lacked the ability to have a civil conversation using reason and logic

Oh please. I never told him to leave. He felt defeated and left. If John V thought that I was one asshole out of 1000 there is NO WAY I could have gotten him to jump ship like that. He would've laughed at me and said, "whatever loser," but instead he figured out that he had pushed one too many buttons around here. He even admitted to getting banned off other discussion forums for the same offense. He wore out his own welcome - I didn't wear it out for him. You don't like me for my remarks, that's fine. I don't like a lot of your posts either. Does that mean that if you're an obtuse, arrogant, pseudo-intellectual that I'm not allowed to pop when you finally go too far? Your answer doesn't matter. I gave John V both barrels. Maybe I shouldn't have, but I sure don't regret telling him to finally shut the fuck up ... and that sir, is my only real offense here.
