I would rather live in a society with same sex marriage. I may not like it, but it's a million times better than the abomination of slavery.

I don't see why we HAVE to compromise our values/conscientious objections.
Even if it were about picking the least worst, I'm still going oppose both.

It is about establishing a hierarchy of morality. One of those things is obviously and I do mean Obviously (with a capital O) better for society than the other. Regardless of how intense your personal bigotry is.

Let's do another one -- which would be better a society in which marijuana is legal -- or one that enforces racial segregation?
