I know a more scholarly interpretation is that virgins was mistranslated from white raisins or something.......... that aside though.
I have a feeling that it's more of a case of blind spots than raw difference in IQ. I know some studies have indicated such a difference, but it's not that significant in my opinion, and only an average: it shoudln't be that hard to find a theist smarter than a given atheist. However, it doesn't matter how smart they (or we) are if they are trying to reason us into of something that isn't based on reason.
