How old are you? I ask because I don't know. If you are still living under their roof, I'd say don't , make waves.
It's only one night. But seriously, if you don't want to go after this tell them it is not your thing and you'd be happy to attend a home party or another family event elsewhere. If they love you it should not bother them. I take my mom to church events sometimes but she knows I won't go in.
My brother when we first met as adults(I am adopted). Took me to a megachurch, since I was nearly 2,000 miles away from home, I couldn't really say no. He stupidly thought somehow magically I'd find god while there. No, all it did was piss me off.
My advice, go this time. But if you are under age wait until you are old enough and tell them you'd be happy to attend other non religious Christmas events.
I'm 22 and I don't live under my parents roof. Just NY grandparents run the church.
