This is what people always say when they just got destroyed in a debate.
Quote: In the mean time, have you ever wondered why the only people who believe the book of genesis is anything but a work of mythology are evangelical Christians? Ever wonder why the people who wrote it (The Jews) don't see it like you do?You can’t even get this right I see. According to Freundel of Contemporary Orthodox Judaism's response to modernity many Orthodox Jewish thinkers still accept a literal six day creation (also supported by Wikipedia’s article on Young-Earth Creationism). Secondly, many Muslims and Reformed Christians and nearly all Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses also accept a literal interpretation of Genesis. How many people believe something to be true is ultimately irrelevant but I just wanted to ensure that you had your facts straight since you usually do not.

…according to the current deep time model yes, give or take a thousand years. They shift these dates around a lot but then tell everyone they are sure about them this time.

According to archaeological evidence the last "Ice Age" didn't end in Finland until 8,900 years age orogenicman.

Some fucking omnipotent deity! Can't get the date of the last ice age right let alone anything else
You cannot assume a deep time interpretation of the evidence and then use that to argue for the validity of using a deep time interpretation of the evidence. Creationists have a perfectly legitimate timetable for the last Ice Age. Secondly, I am unaware of any prominent creationist who is arguing for the Earth being 10,000 years old, I cannot figure out where you all keep getting that figure from. It’s probably simply due to a general ignorance regarding the position.
