How are you liking China? It's very different from the US, isn't it?
A lot of Americans will have you believe its a horrible place. It's basically just like America, I knew that before coming here though because I'm not daft. I don't like the Chinese government nor do I like the American government, but the people of both countries are fine. The capitalism in China is monumental. I've seen whole streets filled with six story malls. Coming from Arizona, it's a huge change to live in a big city for once.
I'm originally from Phoenix, Arizona. I've spent time in Peoria, Anthem, Mesa, Glendale, and Phoenix. It's a terrible city and I'm glad I no longer live there. I do miss the hell out of my friends and family though.
I use a VPN to access Youtube and Facebook.
Thank you for the welcome everyone! Thanks for making me aware of the 30 day period before I can show off my channel. I'll try to be more active soon but I've been busy with making videos and I just adopted a puppy so I'm busy trying to make him feel at home (I found him out on the streets).
Aw, congrats on the puppy.
I went to China as a kid. It did not suit me at all, which is rather weird considering the country I lived in was arguably worse. But I guess they were bad in different departments, XD, and I couldn't get used to China. A lot of it had to do with washrooms without doors and really bad food (I went to Beijing). Do they have doors now? Since then I've been to places that are much more .... questionable (?) than China and I prefer them to North America, so I wonder if I'd feel differently about China if I do go there again. I've always thought americans would have quite a case of cultural shock if they went to China, unless you go to a really big and modern city.
