Just because I've come to learn more about the nature of computers doesn't mean they didn't exist. If God is the original creator, then our knowledge of his existence comes from that which he's created and says nothing of the truth of his existence; but does lead me to believe. I agree the concept of God started as an idea from observations, just like I first observed a computer and learned to define.

@tav- I've said that many times to many people and in case you missed it: It is quite possible that my brain alone could make up the reality of God and my religion has an intrinsic bit of wishfull thinking thrown in.
