I've always wanted to see an attempt by a theist to try and explain a likely mechanism by which god created everything. It's usually incredibly vague dribble, or biblical quotes. One thing that always interested me is that god is usually described as infinitely powerful, such that if he wanted to, he could obviously smash the entire universe in to pieces with the click of a finger. Of course, in order to move all the energy/matter in the universe, he must be able to summon at least an equal amount of energy/matter in order to counter the existing energy/matter. This must surely be stored somewhere, perhaps in a special god cache, or a celestial basement (perhaps along with god's favourite freeze dried coffee). It would be interesting to know where god keeps his spare energy, just in case he fancies plugging the occasional supermassive black hole. In fact, if we could even take a peek at god's house it would be a start.
