I'm curious. See I believe in God. But I'm increasingly dubious that the God of my experience is the one spoken of in the Bible (for the most part)
Tell me, do you believe the Bible was divinely inspired? And if so, why do you believe that?
one way to is follow the prophesy as it relates to the state of israel. Christ spoke of israel dispersion throughout the gentile nations - they would fall by the edge of the sword, and would be led captive into all nations and jerusalem trampled under foot by the gentiles until their time is fulfilled - . so Christ used the word 'until' which means that the dispersion would not last forever. the regathering of israel commenced in 1948 ; this regathering before the 7 year tribulation period is in unbelief (where it stand currently). so after some 2000 years israel has a homeland in an unbelieving state as pertaining to the messiah. now the world is in an undefined period of time prior to the 7 year tribulation period that has very detailed prophesy. after the trib, further prophesy then defines israel in a believing regathered state. more prophesy then defines the 1000 year millennium kingdom to fulfill God's promises. With what we have already seen, we can be assured that God is now preparing the world for the final events leading up to israel's national regeneration. why israel? God has elected to tell his story thru them.
God is quite a long-winded story teller, isn't he? One question: Can he get to the fucking point already?
