procedure while genuinely looking over what you have to say as a whole. You do have some good points, and I'm not going to
lie--all of your posts aren't rampant with flagrancy like I had thought. The only time I see you on these forums, honestly,
is when you've said something so dumb I hear about it or walk in, in the middle of it.
Quote:This verse sums up a few of my following pointsSpeaking of need for context lets put this passage back into it's orginal context.
1 Peter 2:23
23 People insulted him, but he did not insult them back. He suffered, but he did not threaten anyone.
No, he let God take care of him. God is the one who judges rightly. 24 Christ carried our sins in his body on
the cross. He did this so that we would stop living for sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you were healed. 25
You were like sheep that went the wrong way. But now you have come back to the Shepherd and Protector of your lives.
18 Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh. 19 For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. 21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us,[f] leaving us[g] an example, that you should follow His steps:
22 “Who committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;
Then your verses. So the Command was in the above to servants who maybe enduring unfavoriable masters. and your described how Jesus was subservent to His Father's service and Task.
Now unless you are saying that I am your slave.. Know with all of your mind this passage is not applicable here.
Again read the sourrounding context: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?sea...rsion=NKJV
In the 30 pgs I reviewed, a lot of which I did have the misfortune of witnessing, I noticed the following:
Quote:Rampant Hypocrisyshow me. Book chapter and verse. Please.. (and it mirrors what I said in the first half of the post, funny how there is consistance in what I have said over the years?)
Heretical thinking, which I find to be refuted by fellow Christians all over the internet

Doesn't seem to match up with what the bible says you should be doing.

Quote:The mere fact that you call your god YHWH is heresy to a majority of Christian denominations, and quite strong cases have been made that you in fact are worshiping a polytheistic god.
there is a reason why I do not generally use that term and substitute it for "The God of the bible." (Meaning your arguement falls on it's face, you are speaking to christian sterotypes and to nothing I have said.)Quote:Why, out of all the denominations and billions of people who share your faith, would I believe you're the one that has it all right?Because Mine like the bible says no Jesus Christ centered Religion has it !00% right. In fact we have it wrong. all of us. But it also says the same grace that covers willful sin when we repent also covers our unintentional hertical mess ups when we are being 100% faithful to what we know and understand as worship.
Pauls says in 1 cor 12 and romans 12 we are all indivisual members of the body of Christ we do not all have the same function, nor do we all serve the body in the same way. Yet we are all expected to honor our roles in the body. If we do this then we will not be found lacking or at fault.
also look at the letter's Paul wrote to rome, hebrews, corinith, galica, ephesus etc.. look at the mention of the 12 churches in Revelations... Each one of these gatherings of believers repersented a different culture a different social idenity and even a completely different way of serving the same God. In other words these were all different denominations. The idea of a single church or a single body member was a darkages creation, not a biblical one.
will have to get back with you on the rest.
