That's only for Hebrew slaves. Hebrew slaves were treated better than foreign slaves.

Hebrew slaves were only to be kept for 7 years, then set free, UNLESS you found them a wife. If they decided they wanted to stay with the wife, then you were to pierce their ear with awl., and they would become your permanent property.

With slaves from foreign lands, all bets were off.

Yes I am aware of that.... the point is, this god of the bible is a nut case, un educated idiot.. that didnt realize that we evolved passed his nonsense!!!
