I can't speak for anyone else, but to me the term "atheist heathen" is a redundancy. As an atheist is one who holds no belief in god/s, he or she is a heathen - one who belongs to no religion - by default. The only reason I can see for you to employ the phrase in the way you did is in the perjorative sense. In which case, kindly knock it off.
