The slave trade existing today is terrible, but the fact that it does exist in no way excuses the fact that it was biblically sanctioned in the past, and that your good book is not so good because of it.

What you've said isn't even an argument! It doesn't address the issue at all. Would you excuse the fall using the same logic? "Oh, Adam sinned against god, but there's fruit theft going on today, and where's god in all that? What right has he to punish us, when millions of apples go missing every day!"

I wasn't even going to say anything about it till you chimed in, so what are you doing to help free people from the slave trade of today, Christians are going in and smuggling them out where they can, while you sit on your little butt and do nothing.
