How did Eddie make dunkey talk? It was a voice over.. Would God somehow be restricted from doing the same? So in the simplistic terms if Eddie could do a voice over to make a donkey talk then so could the God of creation.
The key difference is that all Eddie had to do was give his lines, and have the animators sync that up with the animation. In order for God to make it talk, he'd have to go through the donkey's voice box, which is really not sophisticated enough to allow for more than a "hee-haw."
