It was a 2nd century addition.
This guy died for an interpolation because some scribe half a century later did not like the abrupt ending of Mark. The writing style is not even the same.
I heard about that. Mark just ends with someone telling the women at the tomb that Jesus isn't there, and they didn't bother to talk to anyone about it. End book.
Whoever wrote the story originally never considered that there would be gullible fools like G-C who'd come along and believe in a dead jew coming back to life!
