Atheism is a religion.
Atheism is not a religion. If you bothered to read a bit more on this forum you would have known that already as this has been rebutted on this very forum many times before.

This is dogma.
First of all, no it is not. Second of all, Dawkins' foundation only funded a summer camp, that wants to promote clear thinking, in other words coming to your own conclusions based on evidence at hand. If you had bothered to read the topic about this summer camp on this forum you would also have noticed that I was one of the first to point out the inherent danger of teaching children what to think instead of how to think. Once a member of that very same summer camp came over to this forum to explain about this camp I even re-itterated that.
Quote:You are no different from that which you scorn so loudly.
What exactly do I scorn so loudly apart from your ridiculous assertions about atheism?
Quote:Where is the enlightened open considerate mind when shouting at fundies?
Again, you are thereby implying that atheists all
a: claim to have an enlightened open considerate mind
b: shout at fundies.
Stop making strawmen.
Quote:As I myself was encouraged to do.
By me? I doubt that very much.
Quote:Without God there could be no atheism. Is that not true?
No, without people believing in gods there would be no atheism. Big difference.
