"Oh no, those humans are so sinful! Better drown them all in a flood, thus killing all the animals who aren't sinful too! And I'll get a single family to repopulate the entire planet after sailing away on a physically impossible ship filled with just two of every animal, because that's a sustainable gene pool!"

"Oh no, all those humans are still so sinful! The only possible method I can think of for circumventing this is to sacrifice myself to myself in order to get past laws I put in place to begin with, because simply forgiving things- like I claim I really want to- is just too darn illogical!"
