It is a refutation of the statement: "Christians attack evolution"
It is a refutation because not all Christians attack evolution. Even if only one in the more than two billion did not attack, that alone would suffice in refuting the sweeping claim that Christians attack evolution.
What he should have said is "Why some Christians attack evolution" or " Why a lot of Christians attack evolution".
I have corrected his sweeping generalization that all Christians attack evolution. Surely he may say well I did not mean to imply all Christians. To which I would respond by saying you should ammend the thread title to be less ambiguous. For surely if I had said something to the effect of Why Atheists attack thus and so, I would more than likely have been accused of lumping all atheists together which is something I should not do because I do not know all atheists.
