The story of Noah is about the nature of the Christian god and the nature of the people he created. It's about sin, punishment, and fear/respect of god. This story has also been used by creationists in scientific discussions. It's also a standard story for children's Bible Study and a lesson about not to pissing off god and that it's okay when when the Christian god kills people. Saying that the story of Noah doesn't have an impact on the Christian community is disingenuous, I think.
I'd say it's a tad more than "disingenuous"
Don't get me wrong Bittersmart, you're obviously spot-on. Though I think it far more fitting to call Drich what he is ... a filthy apologist who will attempt anything he can to make his lies seem somehow plausible.
What's more, the very reason Christians are boycotting the movie is BECAUSE it doesn't follow close enough to their CHRISTIAN standard.
Newsflash Drich: People don't get offended in their beliefs over things that aren't a demonstrable part of their belief structure.
The Lord God Yahweh yet again Being a REAL FUCKING ASSHOLE:
Genesis 6:6-7
6 The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.”
Damn Drich, even for you this such an EPIC FAIL
