To elaborate a bit on what Tor is saying, here are the options when it comes to the existence of a god:
1. A god exists and it manifests in reality.
2. A god exists but it does not manifest in reality.
3. A god does not exist.
God number 1 exists and it manifests in reality. If it does, in theory, its interactions with reality are testable.
God number 2 exists but does not manifest in reality.
If the god you believe in is number 2, how is it distinguishable from god number 3?
I believe in God #1
He interacts with reality, but logically you should not be able to prove that he does.
For example, God created this existence/ universe/ multiverse. So everything in it eminated from him. It is part of him. Everything is proof of the creator.
But that's assuming a creator. Equally, not assuming a creator results in no proof.
Faith. Trust in the rational proposition, cannot be possible if we didn't have to trust our reasoning, but could know objectively.
God is manifest in reality.
