Perhaps, but when it comes down to it, answering the question of why one should be a Christian leaves one only with the bible. Personal testimony, especially that based upon beliefs and riddled with emotions, is worthless, and that's all a relationship with Christ amounts to.
So, when it comes to justifying and defending Christian beliefs, you are stuck with the conundrum of how to interpret the bible and its insanity.
