Why won't God heal amputees?

Why should He, what requirement in the universe says that He should give an amputee a limb back. God healed the amputees or they would have died from their injuries.

I have to say GC, this is a very disturbing attitude, there. It's almost as if you can't understand basic morally good traits like empathy or charity.

I choose to believe that you aren't a sociopath though, and instead I just think that you don't have a satisfying answer to Hobie's question and so became intractable to avoid just saying so.

There's no shame in "I don't know," though! You don't have to make yourself look like some alien with a completely different, incomprehensible view of morality to avoid saying it!

Look around, how is "evolution" working out for us?

Well, it helps us cure diseases, develop smart engineering solutions, domesticates our animals (pets, work animals and farm animals), allows us to develop better crops to feed the world, gives us an understanding of the limitations of our bodies and how they can be improved, gives us unparalleled insight into the natural world...

Oh! And gives us all creationists to laugh at!

I'd say it's working out far better than your god ever has, bud.
