Ephesians 6:12(KJV)
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
As you can see, God is not in control of this world, Because of the original sin, it fell into the possession of Satan. Which is why he was able to tempt Jesus (who is God) by offering him all the kingdoms of the world if he would worship him. That being said, the only protection we have is in Christ.
Proverbs 18:10(KJV)
10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Now if you would notice, first passage mentions the word "principalities" which is the domain of a "prince" which is basically a high ranking Demon.
This is illustrated in the book of Daniel, when Daniel fasted and prayed for 3 weeks and received no answer, until one day an angel appeared and explained how he had been held up by the "prince" of Persia for 21 days
Daniel 10 (KJV)
11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
Notice he also refers to Michael as a prince also, except in his case he is a high ranking Angel.
As the angel was leaving he had this to say
20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
Basically he's saying he has fight his way in and out of enemy lines.
The point is we are surrounded by evil and it's only going to get worse. A way of escape has been provided (as Paul explains by putting on the armor of God) just don't blame God if you choose not to take advantage of it.
I'm so sick and tired of hearing about the original sin! God knew it was going to happen, even though he gave them a "choice", yet still decided to go ahead and create humans, because all those angels worshipping him wasn't enough. That to me sounds like one sick and sadistic bastard. Therefore, I don't believe in this dumb story. It's just too stupid to take seriously.
